Last week we reported that Beyonce and her mother Tina opened a joint venture in Brooklyn, The Beyonce Cosmetology Center to benefit less fortunate individuals who are serious about their rehab efforts and want to focus on a beauty vocation/trade.
Good Morning America sat down with the superstar and her mother to discuss the venture and a few other topics. Beyonce talked about her career, the importance of the bond with her mother and of a venture such as this and her husband Jay-Z.
She left her ring on for the interview, which she customarily doesn’t do and… wow! That’s really all you can say about it. Its definitely a fabulous piece of finger candy. It’s also great to hear the playful banter between mother and daughter, especially when Mama Tina says she praying for grandchildren. Love it.
It’s so great to see celebrities doing more than rump shaking and gyrating but really putting their name and influence to good use.
