YouTube phenom Priscilla Renea has received a lot of buzz surrounding her debut album Jukebox and its leading single Dollhouse but despite all the hype she hasn’t had much lick in the charts. Despite that, she’s moving on to her second single from the album “Lovesick”.

The piano and drum driven super poppy track is more along the lines of the kind of music that is finding success right now. In fact, it sounds a lot like a more upbeat and youthful version of Corinne Bailey Rae’s “Closer”. The track showcases Priscilla’s vocals brilliantly along with some lyrical content that isn’t half bad.

There’s something about this track that makes it just absolutely infectious. It’s cute without being over the top and the infiltrating rockband vibes that come through the track’s production mid way through the number is quite inspiring. It’s like a refreshing mix of genre’s that will have you falling in love with Priscilla all over again. She’s already the type of girl who is so cute you just want to put her in your pocket and take her places with you but after hearing this track, you’ll think she’s even more adorable.

In addition to releasing the new track, she will appear on The Mo’Nique Show later this month then hit the road for her appearance at the legendary Lilith Fair. Besides touring around the country with artists like the Backstreet Boys and Colbie Caillat, Prisilla has also been in the studio writing and recording, most recently spending some time with American Idol star David Archulata.

This young girl seems to be on a mission to be unstoppable and after meeting her in person myself I can vouch for the fact that she is indeed well on her way.
